Teochew Steamed Fish

Garlic (minced)

Silken tofu (sliced)
½ block
Sour plum

Oyster sauce

Shaoxing wine

Ginger (julienned)

Tomato (sliced)

Shiitake mushroom (sliced)

Soy sauce

Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil

  1. Arrange the tomatoes, tofu, mushroom, sour plum and pickle on top of the fish.
  2. Mix all sauces in a small bowl, pour the sauce over the sauce, let it marinate for about 20minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok, once hot, carefully pour the hot oil over the fish to lightly cook the ginger and garlic.
  4. Steam the fish over high heat for 10 minutes, until the fish is cooked.
  5. Lastly, garnish with the cilantro leaves.
