Handmade Prawn Siu Mai

Prawns (peeled, deveined and chopped)
300g
Cornstarch
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Sugar
1 teaspoon
Egg white
1
Pork (minced)
400g
Shaoxing wine
1 tablespoon
Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon
White pepper
½ teaspoon
Dumpling wrappers
1 bag
  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center. Use fingers to shape the filling into a dome shape.
  3. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. Steam the siu mai over boiling water for 8 minutes.
