Duck Confit with Sesame Oil

Duck leg
Black pepper
to taste
Fresh thyme
Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil
¼ cup
to taste
Garlic (smashed)
4 cloves
Bay leaves
  1. Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix well marinate for at least 1 day.
  2. Preheat oven to 150C.
  3. Heat the oil in large skillet, add the duck legs, skin-side down and sear until both side golden brown.
  4. Transfer the duck legs and marinade to the oven, bake for 2 hours.
  5. Serve the duck confit hot, accompanied by your favourite side dishes.
