Lo Mai Gai
Glutinous rice (soaked overnight)
2 cups
Dried shiitake mushrooms (sliced)

Shaoxing wine
1 tablespoon
Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon
Shallots (minced)

to taste
Chicken thighs (diced)
500g
Oyster sauce
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Garlic (minced)
2 cloves
Salt
to taste
- Marinate the chicken with oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil, garlic, shallots and a pinch of salt and pepper for 30 minutes.
- Combine the marinated chicken, shiitake mushrooms, and glutinous rice in a bowl, mix well.
- Steam the lo mai gai over boiling water for about an hour.
