Scallion Pancake

All purpose flour
2 cups
to taste
Green onion (sliced)
Hot water
1 cup
Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil

  1. Combine flour and salt, slowly add the hot water while stirring continuously until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing the sliced scallions with Extra Virgin Pure Sesame Oil and salt, set aside.
  4. After the dough has rested, divide it into 4 equal portions. Take one portion and roll it out into a thin circle.
  5. Brush the surface of the rolled-out dough with sesame oil. Then evenly distribute a quarter of the scallion filling over the oiled dough.
  6. Heat the oil in a skillet, fry the pancake until golden brown and crispy.
